How do I select the right part for my laptop computer?
Select first according to the type of part you need, and then by the brand and model of laptop computer for which you are purchasing it, as follows:

  • Select the type of product you are seeking from our product categories on the menu bar, such as Laptop Keyboards, AC adapters under the Laptop Power Products menu, etc.
  • If the category is subdivided by brand, look for your brand of computer as a subcategory.
  • Find the product which is compatible with your specific model of laptop computer, as listed in the item title. If your model is not given in any of the product titles, look within the product descriptions of parts for similar computer models, to see if your model is listed within the full product description.
  • If you are not able to find the item you need, feel free to contact us. We will be glad to help you select the item you need.

What credit cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards whose accounts are located in the United States. Our credit card payments are processed through Amazon Payments, which means we can accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, as long as the billing address is in the United States.

Do you charge sales tax?
This depends on the shipping address of the order:

  • Out-of-state orders: If the order is shipped to anywhere outside the state of North Carolina, no, we do not charge sales tax.
  • North Carolina orders: On orders which are to be shipped to a North Carolina address, yes, we charge North Carolina sales tax at the rate which is current for the destination county. Tax is calculated on the total of the goods plus shipping charges. As of July 1, 2011, the sales tax rate was 6.75% in most counties, 7% in Alexander, Catawba, Cumberland, Duplin, Haywood, Hertford, Lee, Martin, New Hanover, Onslow, Pitt, Randolph, Robeson, Rowan, Sampson, Surry and Wilkes Counties, and 7.25% in Mecklenburg County. Rates can change quarterly, and may have changed since this page was last updated.

If I have a problem, can I return the item?
Generally, yes you can. If we were to send you the wrong item, or if it should happen to be defective when you receive it, we will happily replace it with the correct working item. Our products are also covered against failure by a 30-day warranty, or other length of warranty as may be stated on the product listing. If you wish to return a product for any other reason, a restocking fee may apply. Please see our full Warranty and Returns policy for details.
